Among Avatar's most beloved installments receives its own MTG special card drop.
Ordinarily, clip shows are disliked by fans as an unnecessary waste of time, or sometimes tolerated as a requirement for series in the age of regular broadcasts. However, this wasn't the situation, but Avatar: The Last Airbender showed it through "The Ember Island Players," a popular segment from its final season which is now granted a special Magic: The Gathering Secret Lair collection.
Highlights regarding the special release
The entire Secret Lair superdrop for the forthcoming Avatar: The Last Airbender set was revealed on November 4. Containing five Secret Lairs, and even though one titled "My Cabbages!" is an admittedly amusing nod to the show's best background character, the remaining sets seem somewhat uninspired, with one notable exception: "The Ember Island Players."
Inspired by the seventeenth episode of the third season of the animated show, this Secret Lair contains these specific cards:

The reason this episode stands out
Audiences of the series warmly cherish this episode, which functioned as a review of the protagonist Aang and the group's adventure leading up to the conclusion. Unlike standard summary installments, or "clip shows," "The Ember Island Players" was not driven due to production constraints or scheduling problems. The producers genuinely intended to give fans an opportunity to reflect on the overall plot, however, they opted to execute it with flair.
Throughout the segment, the main characters observe a theatrical performance depicting their exploits at a playhouse on Ember Island, titled The Boy in the Iceberg. The whole thing is inaccurate, melodramatic, and completely amusing. It excels since it plays on the characters' views regarding their own identities, juxtaposing them with how the world (and especially the Fire Nation citizens) perceives them. It possesses the perfect balance of introspective humor, and it ends up arguably the best adaptation of Avatar available to date.

Regarding worth, this is a great Secret Lair because of one major element: Braid of Fire. This particular card sells between $20 and $40 through card retailers as of now, and at $29.99 you can snag the entire Secret Lair, or $39.99 for the shiny edition.
