Wilfried Nancy stated he had no concerns about dismissal, claiming, “The team is very near to changing our fortunes,” even after moving dangerously close to the chopping block with a convincing defeat by Rangers.

A Second-Half Collapse Leads to Derby Disaster

Celtic had led their oldest rivals at the break but a second-half capitulation allowed the Gers to pull level on points with the defending league title holders. Nancy, who was hired in December, has now been in charge for six setbacks in his last eight fixtures.

Supporters' Anger Outside Parkhead

“The standard we had at certain moments was really, really, really high. This is the reality. And I would not speak so positively if it was not the case. That is the reason, regarding outcomes, I noted this is the same story. That’s why I feel we are nearly there to things turning around. Currently: the fine margins.”

“We produced many, many good things that we did, like today again. But now it’s about sustaining it. My narrative would be different if it was not the case. That’s why I am a big believer we’re going to be able to turn things around.”

Röhl’s Cautious Stance

The victorious boss was cautious about a title charge despite what seemed like a landmark win. “One match at a time, and we can develop momentum,” he said. “The belief in the team is outstanding.”
