Vince Zampella, Has Died in a California Vehicle Accident
Vince Zampella, renowned for co-creating the wildly popular franchise Call of Duty, has died in a car accident in Los Angeles, California aged 55.
His passing was announced by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, a game studio which he helped establish.
The celebrated video game developer died after his automobile collided and was engulfed in flames on a highway in LA on Sunday morning, as reported by.
"We are facing an unimaginable loss, and we stand with his family and friends, those closest to him, and everyone impacted by his work," a spokesperson for Electronic Arts stated.
